Constantine: 1st and second episode reaction

I watched the first 2 episodes of Constantine yesterday (finally), and at first, I honestly didn't really like the feel of the show. That was primarily because of the quialiy I was watching it in, and it reminded me of the quality of shows airing around 2005, and I wasn't really happy with that, considering how far TV graphics and special effects have progressed since then.

Nevertheless, when I found out that Constantine was based off of a DC comic, I thought that it would be nice to watch. After watching the second episode, however, I had a slightly better grasp on the show, though in some ways it reminded me of Supernatural, due to them finding paranormal cases across America, and then going to resolve each one at a time. Plus, the first season is about finding a demon.
I do realize that to truly judge the show, I need to watch more of the show before I can say anymore, but for those that don't find what I say to be true in anyway, the following is for you:

See the similarity?

Also, I loved this easter egg in the piolt for one of the most iconic DC mystic heroes (for anyone who knows it):

The Flash: Pilot

Episode 1: Pilot

Barry Allen, a usually tardy CSI for the Central City Police Department, wakes up after a 9 month after being struck by lightning the same night as the Central City particle accelerator explosion. He wakes up to find out that his best friend/love of his life, Iris West, is dating her father's partner (in secret), he has superspeed, and most importantly: lightning gave him abs. This is also the appearance of his first suit, which is burgundy and gold rather than the classic bright red, yellow and white. He faced Clyde Mardon, in the comics known as weather wizard.

I was more excited to see how the directors of the show would handle bringing superspeed to the real world. I wasn't sure whether he would look like a blur all the time, like the 90's Flash adaptation, or more like time seemingly slows down, the way that Quicksilver did in Xmen: Days of future past. As seen in the episode, CW was able to incorporate both types in some way, though he primarily will be running as a blur.

Overview and Intro

Hello, everybody, and welcome to my blog!
My name is Victor, but online, you can call me by my soccer team nickname, Midknight.
This blog is about me taking TV show recommendations that you want me to watch, and I give my views and reactions about it. The show I'm going to start with is The Flash on CW because I already watch it and the show just began, so it seems the best to start the blog off. Just so you knwo, I moght not take every show into consideration based on time, but I'll try to get to as many as I can, and would perfer to have newer shows so I don't have much to catch up on (cause who wants to see a blog about outdated shows). Besides that, the best way to leave a show suggestion will be to comment on the blog.
